Colorfield Records is an LA record label started by Pete Min and based out of Lucy’s Meat Market in Eagle Rock, CA. All Colorfield records are recorded and mixed at LMM, mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearant Audio and manufactured at RTI, Inc. to ensure consistent and top-notch quality. Colorfield releases experimental music where compositions are born out of spontaneous ideas and those ideas inform where the composition ends up. Relying on instincts supersedes thought when starting the compositions. Sonics are as important as the composition. LA is home to many world-class musicians, and Colorfield is here to serve as an outlet for the expression and experimentation of artists seeking to explore an unfamiliar path.
